Binding Ties

Beneath a starry evening sky

Darkness envelopes the distant horizon

Dew locks in on dull trees and life is about to recharge

And begin again to call upon the heavens.

The thirsty trees reach their roots deep

To drink the monsoon rains

The Earth calls for heaven when it needs these connections

My silent body reaches through the veil

And makes the connection with my Lord.

Man only understands physical ties,

But the spirit knows better

Nature knows those hidden energies God provides

Love of a mother knots and tightens those ties

Eternity locks those bonds.

Ties that bind weave the past, present and the future together

Secrets whispered in the wind,

Prayers said in private spaces and friends' spirit conversations heard from above,

Bring blessings to all.

Heaven calls, and I answer.

A Perfect Wordstorm

I am a non-speaking 25-year-old who lives in Tucson. I learned to communicate on a letter board in 2024. Since then, my life has changed drastically. I can now achieve goals that never seemed possible.  My mission is to help other non-speakers become free from silence. I love spelling and I love to hear stories about spellers.
