I had an awesome experience interviewing the Tucson muralist Joe Pagac.  The fact that he treated me with respect, made me feel seen as a human.  Understand how amazing it felt that he saw me as a fellow artist.

I am a member of the Tucson community.  I have sat alone in my head for many years. My mind does not communicate with my body; I have never been able to speak. Spelling has offered me opportunities to have a place where I can be my true self and most importantly for the friendships I have made.
