Building Community, Friendship, and Advocacy for Non-Speaking Individuals
Tucson Spellers is seeking new volunteer Board Members to help guide our mission of empowering nonspeaking individuals with autism and apraxia through community events, education, advocacy, financial assistance, and access to communication-based resources. Board members attend a monthly meeting on the first Monday at 6:30 PM via Zoom and actively support events, advocacy, and fundraising. We welcome candidates with connections to the Tucson community and value experience in nonprofit governance, fundraising/development, marketing/communications, finance/accounting, event planning, community engagement, disability advocacy, and family support (experience in any of these areas is appreciated but not required).
