Hiking Clubs End of Season Celebration

Join Tucson Spellers as we celebrate another wonderful hiking season filled with friendship, connection, movement, and community. We will gather at the Rose Canyon Lake Amphitheater, which has been reserved by Tucson Spellers, for a relaxed morning together sharing poems, songs, and reflections inspired by hiking and nature. Participants are welcome to bring a favorite song or poem or create something special just for this event. Following our time together, those who would like can enjoy a hike and/or a leisurely stroll around the lake.

Entry and parking will be free. Please bring water, snacks, and lunch. From the intersection of Grant Road and Tanque Verde Road, head east on Tanque Verde Road approximately 5 miles to Catalina Highway. Turn left heading north and continue 17 miles up Catalina Highway to Rose Canyon Campground. The campground is clearly marked and located on the left.

The Tucson Spellers Hiking Club is a fantastic way to connect with fellow spellers while exploring the breathtaking outdoor scenery of Tucson. With its stunning landscapes, fresh air, and beautiful weather, Tucson offers the perfect backdrop for group hikes. Each hike will vary in location and difficulty, providing opportunities for everyone to enjoy the outdoors at their own pace. Whether you're looking for a casual stroll or a more challenging trek, this club is a great way to build friendships, stay active, and experience the natural beauty of the desert together!
