For our first hiking adventure of the summer, we’re heading up to the beautiful Rose Canyon Lake on our own Mt. Lemmon! Once we reach the lake, we’ll have two short trails to explore. Munchkinland is listed as an easy hike, though it might be a bit challenging for some bodies—no worries, we’ll take it at our own pace! The second trail is partially paved, making it more accessible, and there’s also handicapped parking available closer to the lake for those who need it.
We’ll meet at the top parking lot and decide together which trail to start with. After our hikes, we’ll gather down by the lake for a relaxing lunch—please remember to pack a lunch!
For those who want to make the most of the day, Rose Canyon Lake is also a great spot for fishing. If you’d like to fish, feel free to bring your own poles and bait. Or, just reach out to Courtney Cameron—she’s happy to share some fishing poles she has on hand.
We’re looking forward to a beautiful day in nature and can’t wait to see everyone there!
