This gorgeous and adventurous (moderate) 3.7 mi loop route combines a series of trails in the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area. This hike begins along the Sabino Walkway and soon connects to the Esperero Trail. There are several short and sweet inclines before the descent towards the river on the Rattlesnake Trail. The water crossing can be pretty broad and deep depending on the time of year. Take in the beautiful views at Sabino Lake before completing the loop.
